Drop Score

Drop Score: Outpick. Outplay. Outlast.

Drop Score is a fantasy-style survivor pool for college golf. Each week, you’ll select a golfer competing in one or two of the premier mens college tournaments. Your goal? Pick players who count towards their team’s score. If your player counts for their respective team each round of the tournament, you advance to the next week.

Drop Score is meant to be a fun way to actively follow college golf amongst a community of other golf enthusiasts. Even if you're eliminated, you can continue to make picks and compete on cumulative score relative to par.

How to Play

1️⃣ Pick One a College Golfer Per Tournament

Each week features one or two college tournaments.
Select one golfer per tournament who you believe will count towards their team’s score. Once you've used a player for a tournament, you can't pick him for the rest of the season.
Pick a backup golfer in case your primary pick isn't in the starting lineup.

2️⃣ Track Your Survival

If your golfer’s score is one of the four counting scores for their team (including ties) each round, you’re safe and advance to the next event.
If your player is one of the team's drop scores, you are eliminated from the survivor pool but can continue to compete based on cumulative score relative to par.

3️⃣ Win the Season

The survivor leaderboard is ranked by:
- Weeks without a drop (longest survivor)
- Number of drops (fewer is better)
- Cumulative strokes relative to par (tiebreaker)
A separate leaderboard will rank cumulative strokes relative to par

Winners from the spring 2025 NCAA season will receive a prize package from DRVN.Golf partners including Flag Bag Golf, StrackaLine, Fried Egg Golf and others!

Weekly Schedule

The Spring 2025 Drop Score season starts March 2nd with the Southern Highlands Collegiate and Cabo Collegiate and runs through the stroke play portion of the NCAA Championship at La Costa at the end of May.
